Fashion and Style combined with Polyvore sets
This is one show I looked forward to seeing, and Max Azria did not disappoint me. The collection itself had an urban bohemian feel to it, with all of the runway models wearing berets. Colorful patterns were in full bloom as leather and fur ruled the runway. Asymmetrical hems were spotted in skirts and some tops. The color palette was actually a good one, consisting of burgundy, black, purple, blue, gray white. The overall look and feel of the pieces were loose and flowy with a bohemian-mod aesthete to it. I had thought at one point the models were sporting leather legwarmers and black stiletto heels, but would later discover that they were actually boots (still not sure about that one, tbh.). Well played Max, well played on that end.
The patterns were colorful and often paired with sheerer fabrics. Sheer sleeves dominated Azria’s runway collection, floor-length skirts with a side-slit also were prevalent. I really was drawn to the pairing of fabrics with leather and fur. One outfit that really stood out for me would be the skirt set made out of leather with a laser cut pattern.
