Fashion and Style combined with Polyvore sets
As someone who’s new to Timo Weiland, I have to say that I wish I had come across this designer brand sooner rather than later. Just from watching the video of the runway show, it pretty much confirmed what I had thought. The color palette being dark and not at all eye-popping, it consisted of olive green, navy blue, black, gray, red, burgundy, white, gold, and purple. Models would come out wearing coats with sherpa linings in some looks or fur trim hoods.
Prints were definitely a part of the collection with there being golfer plaid/check and camouflage found in some of the pieces. Leather played a role in the collection, with it being featured in a flared a-line skirt and some models sporting leather sleeves. Some looks had sheer sleeves and one look had a pantsuit. Said pantsuit had the golfer plaid/check print I had previously mentioned. Some looks were completed with beanie hats.
When it comes to pants, you can definitely spot the cigarette leg pants and the wide leg pants in the collection. You could spot lacy and sheer fabrics in the collection, along with taffeta and brocade. Pencil skirts, slit skirts, flared skirts, and a-line skirts were in this collection. Some models even sported leg warmers with the skirts. There were a few dresses in this collection, one dress was a one-shoulder dress while another dress sported a front slit.
The models would stride down the runway in either oxford shoes or mary jane heels. Overall, the collection had a mod Carnaby Street aesthete to it mixed in with Oxford prep. I loved the collection and look forward to seeing the next collection.
