Chronicles of a Pseudo Stylist

Fashion and Style combined with Polyvore sets

Welcome to the Digital Coverage of MBNYFW Day 4!

We’re well into the 4th day (2nd for the MBNYFW) into NYFW, and so far the collections have been better than I expected. It was nice to see some designers added some variety to the collection’s color palette, however, the minimalism and simplicity is still bothersome to me. I hope there’s some pop to the collections being shown today by means of color and form or fitting to the looks. I was impressed to see some designers’ collections embraced prints and contrasting background colors this season. However, I have liked a lot of looks from every collection being shown in spite of my misgivings. The designers taking their turn at the runway today are Zimmermann, Pierre Balmain, Cushnie et Ochs, Peter Som, Tess Giberson, Kate Spade New York, Rebecca Minkoff, Lyn Devon, Chadwick Bell, Duckie Brown, Rodebjer, Jenni Kayne, Jason Wu, Rachel Roy, Sally Lapointe, Misha Nonoo, Gregory Parkinson, VPL, Rag & Bone, A Détacher, Nicole Miller, Tome, N Hoolywood, Todd Snyder, Helmut Lang, Suno, and Billy Reid.

At the end of each review, I’ll leave a link to a video or to to view the collection.
