Chronicles of a Pseudo Stylist

Fashion and Style combined with Polyvore sets

Welcome to the Digital Coverage of MBNYFW Fall/Winter 2014-15: Day 1

Today is the first full day of MBNYFW Fall/Winter 2014-15, while yesterday some designers showed their collections (that day is the “inaugural day” to me) for the Fall/Winter 2014-15 season. As I’ve previously mentioned, I’ll try my best to post an entry the very same day after I’ve taken notes on the shows I’ve seen. I might be a day late, I might be more than a day late, I might even post two or more reviews if I end up pulling an all-nighter. It’s not easy, but as long as I get it done, I’m happy. It appears that the final day for fashion shows is on Valentine’s Day. However, only two shows will be shown on that day, so more may be added if something were to go wrong.

What I’ve seen so far as of yesterday, there are some things that are new when it comes to fashion trends, there are some that have been rampant since I first covered Fall/Winter Fashion Week last year! I guess the more things change, the more they stay the same in some aspects. The designers showing their latest collections are Nicholas K, BCBG Max Azria, Visvim, Kate Gallagher, Richard Chai Love, Coach, Creatures of the Wind, Whit, Duckie Brown, Tocca, Tadashi Shoji, Creatures of Comfort, Cynthia Rowley, Costello Tagliapietra, M Missoni, Tome, Preen Line, Araks, Adam Selman, 10 Crosby Derek Lam, Marissa Webb, Brandon Sun, Juan Carlos Obando, Todd Snyder, Dion Lee and Rodebjer. I’ll post a link to FashionTV’s YouTube or a link to some other YouTube video if you wish to see the line. You can even visit to see photographs from the collection.
