Fashion and Style combined with Polyvore sets
We are only two days in and I’m still impressed by the big turnaround this season has been in comparison to last year’s show. Two consistent days of impressive fashion collections, despite the fact that the silhouettes I’ve associated with the dreadful minimalism that was Spring/Summer 2015 are still popular. If that keeps up, then I’m going to think one of two things; one being that the boxy, oversized and shapeless silhouettes are being used as a crutch by new and young designers. The other being that this may be part of the designer’s overall aesthete when it comes to his/her collections. I’m hoping that this impressiveness extends itself to the entire week and continues into London and Milan.
The designers who are scheduled to show off their collections today are: Frame Denim, Misha Nonoo, Lacoste, Self Portrait, Jill Stuart, Dion Lee, Christian Siriano, Quynh Paris, Noon by Noor, Osklen, Adam Lippes, ICB, Skingraft, Ji Oh, Rebecca Minkoff, Hervé Léger by Max Azria, Vanwolff , Altuzarra, Esosa, Luis Antonio, Santa Clara Moda, Francesca Liberatore, Mara Hoffman, JD Collection, Baja East, Banana Republic, Collina Strada, Monique Lhuillier, Sandy Liang, Marco Marco, Son Jung Wan, and Alexander Wang.
